So we went from 5 minute Tot'ing to 20-30minute ToT'ing. WTF. And this happens after user profiles went wacky. I want to smash some shit right now. There's some user feedback for you.

5 minutes is too short, imo, but 20-30 is far too long.

Average waiting time, imo, should be around 10-12 minutes. And half that on the last day or with a fast pass, 5-6 minutes.

Pretty sure it was supposed to be 20-30 minute wait from the get go. In the past they have been longer waits and then went down to short waits on the last day

I'm pretty sure that's the wait time it should have been. I remember last year having long wait times when the event started.

Yeah, that was a very abrupt change that is very frustrating.

I do think it's a bit long though. I agree with that 10-12 minutes seems more appropriate.

I wouldn't mind waiting 10 minutes but 20-30 is just fracking nuts.

The ToT time change is FUCKING RIDICULOUS!!! Not one dame event has happened without alot of mistakes and downtime, then you change the ToT times to be like egging and tp'ing a profile. I think that is BULLSHIT!!!

I think every year we start off with the decreased times leftover from the end of last Morostide, then the times get reverted to normal. I agree ToTing should be more like 10 minutes at the most, though.

I don't remember it like that at all. I remember ToT being like dancing -- 5-10 minutes w/ a fast pass being 2-5 minutes. The TP/egging was 20-30 minutes. I remember having to plan my activities according to the ToT times and 30 minutes doesn't require any planning. It pops up too infrequently to interfere with anything.

I remember long wait times only because the site lag was so severe and it kept crashing. It was 20 minutes to do ANYTHING because pages took so long to load and events kept timing out.

After having numerous Morostides you would think they'd come up with a consistent amount of time that is satisfactory for all involved. 30 minutes is ridiculous. I prefer the 10 - 15 minute marker.

20-30 is extremely excess. What about the people who only get to TOT at their work lunch break? What, they get to TOT like once a day?

This was an unpleasant surprise. I hadn't been ToT'ing for something like fifteen minutes, went to post, and now can't ToT for nine more minutes and I'm leaving the person who posted above me hanging.

I would appreciate a heads-up of some sort when a change of this magnitude happens.

Edit: And by heads-up I mean a news post so that the entire userbase is aware, instead of a single post made in an out of the way thread. It would head off a lot of feedback angst as well as a lot of unnecessary "IS THIS A BUG?" threads.

I admit I'd prefer a wait time more between 10-15 minutes. I'll probably end up much too distracted with other stuff to remember to return every half hour or so.

Although I was thinking the 5 minute time was a bit of a mad scramble to keep up. laughs

It's like this every year. While I do wish the wait times were shorter, we were lucky enough to have the 5min wait times for nearly a full day.
